Future Possibility Topic

I want to Bring Up a Discussed But never In depth Expressed topic. Via, Making the game More you Own.

Custom Weapons. Smithing.

ElderScrolls Has brought about many ways to make you weapons stronger, and looks different. But, I think These Guys Can and Should go Further into the Customization.

For Example: An Smithing option That to only allows you to forge Weapons, but to take them apart and Put them with Other ones. Like An Glass Sword hilt with an Ebony Blade ( in the same Shape) or Something Like that.

OR Any Way that You can make it So the weapon Evolves with its User. NOTE:This Option However would require a Much more In-Depth Moral System.

Like for Example: an Character That dual Wields Magic and Swords. They Would Have a Deadra Sword and the Magic skill of their choice, But I think the Longer They Use that particular Weapon the more it should become more relation to Magic. like For example the Blade Starts Glowing a Certain Color, From a Effect . Like the glowing Runes of a Sword.. I Think they should be Able to Grow Darker in Color based upon the persons Moral rating, Along with the appearance of the weapon. Those With 100% evil affinity Have weapons That have a Black Glow, and look more demonic. and Those With Good Moral have one that glows white...etc..etc.

Another example , That is still un-likely but far more reasonable , is Have a weapon that evolves with the User Stat Wise. Like for example The person Can use the same weapon throughout the entire game and per % of exp they get it gains Exp and becomes stronger, and the longer they use said weapon the stronger it gets. So, If you like the looks of one Type of weapon you not hindered because ti has Lower Stats. Like my Like of Ebony 1-Handed axe Vs deadra. I love Ebony. It is the coolest Armor and weapons IMO. with exception of the 1-hand sword. >.>

But, Have a Level Cap on them So they don't become ridiculously strong.

This would be a way to make the Game More custom to the character, and allow the person to Not be Forced to buy the best weapon in the game if they do not want too and still allow them to play at their best.

It can alos present a challange aspect in such as: they have a wep throughout the game, but then find one that looks cooler, they would have to train and start over to make That one as Strong(unless you wanted to add like a fusion thing in magics/alchemy where you give 50-75% the stats/exp to the new weapon from the old one)

This is just Some Ideas I had, Feel Free to expand on or add in your own Along this Line of Thought,

Warning: Idiots or Trolls Will just be ignored, and I will Deny You entire existence Until you Have something coherent to say.

Hi!

I like the idea of being able to fully customize a weapon. Further more, it would be interesting to develop some sort of parametric smithing, where you could actually tailor size, material, type of blade, decorative etchings, colour and what not, and in the end name your unique creation. The system would have to be able to come up with a trade off, for example, the longer the heavier, the heavier the more difficult to swing, more stamina drained per attack, and so forth. I'm not too sure about the weapon 'levelling' with you. For the moment, I don't really like the concept of levelling at all, but I'm new to this series so it might grown on me.
