Should they make a remastered version of Morrowind?

Yeah you're exactly right. I have been spoiled by modern games graphics. And i can understand why everybody says "it's not about the graphics, it's the quality of the game" because i do go back and play games from the past that have HORRIFIC graphics compared to games from today, but I enjoy them because it's from my past. BUT, i'm not about to go out and buy myself a game that I've never played before that has really terrible graphics. I would be too distracted by the poor quality to be able to focus on how amazing the game itself is.

I felt the same way when getting Majoras mask on emulator... don't regret getting the game tho. But that's life, you take a risk, and hope there's a sweetroll at the end.

Get the Morrowind Overhaul: Sound and Graphics. Really easy to use installer, and you're good to go from that point. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1319942-relz-morrowind-overhaul-sounds-graphics-20/
IIRC KingPIX was also releasing an overhaul about the combat, critters and quests. I don't know what the progress is on that one, but I'd love to try that one out.
I'll keep this in mind if I actually decide to get Morrowind on the computer. Right now i'm hesitating just because i have Oblivion on steam and I lag like it's no ones business. But thank you!

If Oblivion makes you lag then i'd hesitate to get the overhaul. I tried it and it shot my fps down to like 5 fps. And i can play Oblivion on Ultra i believe.

Rather than "remaster" it with new sound, graphics, etc. they should just leave it the way it is and release it for the XBox 360...

Well i agree with you and disagree at the same time. Yeah they should release it for the 360.. with achievements and stuff like that. But it's already backwards-compatible with the 360, so they probably wont do "remakes" until they cover all of Tamriel. I do however, think that they should amp up the graphics if they DO make a 360 version. But after getting a bunch of opinions, I've learned that the only way that would happen is if they completely re-do it with the mechanics of and up-to-date game like Skyrim, which they wont. And we both know that it would ruin the game.
