The Nerevane Dungeons (Completed Mod)

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 5:48 pm

There were a couple monsters stuck in the walls that I did disable... (Level 1)

Oh wait. I actually had one Beetle thing stuck in the wall. I just now remembered that while going thru all of these posts again. HA!

~Edit~

I'm also gonna work on this mod today and edit the ending lore of it so it'll fit with my Skyrim mod that I'll be working on here soon.

I am also fixing that summon you told me about. Anything else you've encountered?

Not sure, haven't touched the game for a while.. Been preparing to finish the tribunal quest from an old save, and then go through an alternate tribunal and see how that goes. I think I had gotten through level 20 or so, but just didn't keep going. I think you should up the speed of the armor skill gains a bit, and other slow gaining skills (Athletics, acrobatics). I wouldn't consider this mod for a huge long term game, so trying to level those things up seems like a waste of time.

Heavy Armor Trainer in Main Lobby and you also get an Athletics, Acrobatics, and Light Armor Trainers after completing F30. I make sure there are plenty of trainers for helping skills to level up. You make plenty of money in those dungeons very easily.

Perhaps. I remember my brother making a comment though before using trainers. He would use a temporary drain skill on a specific skill giving it the lowest possible price for training, however he was spending the better part of half an hour to an hour using the trainers to raise up his skills, and he at some point said 'why am I doing this again?'; I think it was taking something like 15 seconds per skill point, 10 or so mandatory wait and 5 seconds to set it all up and pay for the skill.. I think it was because it was slow tedious and boring. (30 minutes to get 120 points in a dialog window at that speed)

Personally I have avoided trainers in my own game before; Guess I wanted to be a bit more 'purist'. Besides some skills are easy to level after a certain point (Like hand-to-hand), which I actually used quite a bit during my early leveling getting me to 15th level I think.

I never use trainers except for within this mod. That's all I gotta say about trainers.
