Morrowind enb testing and color of daynight

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 5:08 pm

Has anybody good enb settings for morrowind ?
I'm testing it but day colour is too white and dungeons are pitch black.
Question about lighting in dungeons:
Torches in dungeons aren't shedding light properly but lighting in dungeons is grading with colours (I think.)
I have also disable fog through MGE.
So,
is there a way how to change colors of day that is actually blue and not bleech white and
somehow to fix lighting in dungeons?

I have single core processor and enb hasn't FPS drop (without SSAO) unlike Morrowind Overhaul.
I actually like enbseries with Morrowind and weights only 144 Kb :)
MO is great but only on multicore CPU's.

Does anybody know how to get blue sky because it's to white.

Morrowind framerate doesn't benefit much from multicore CPUs. Not sure about MGE though.

MGE function "supply shader info" depends on CPU heavily

A blue oriented palette shader might be worth a try, that and enabling SSAO. The white out looks to be caused by too high a bloom value.

I used this palette

Bloom in pictures above was disabled because it gives too much bleech white colour on day.
I need to recolour day to blue so that palette will give proper shift.

SSAO gives a FPS hit on single core CPU.

If you give these a try, see if they help any.

They might need converting.

If bloom was turned off in the shots you might need to have a fiddle round with the HDR settings in the enb config.

It could also be worth a shot giving a different sky texture a try. Less clouds, less do bloom out.

Hicks233, this one is very good

Palette need to have small amount black and white, colours must graduate slowly, because on IMG]http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/4654/enbpalette.jpg[/IMG] you can see black on one side and white on other.
Btw, I working with GIMP. Do you know how to save palette?. I have done the gradient but then when I save palette, it is palette and white around.
I don't want white around palette.

It ought to be saveable as a bmp from the png in paint. Gimp ought to be able to do the conversion comfortably. Not sure why there would be a white border around it. Got me puzzled there.

It could also be worth trying having the gradient go from black through blue to a light grey as opposed to white. Worth an experiment at least.

Look forward to seeing shots with the palette applied. :)

Do you mean that upon saving the texture, you get a little white border along an edge or two? I have had that happen with Gimp and I am still not sure why that is; for some reason, the layer size does not match with the image size, or its off set and I have no idea how this happens.

Personally I use "Layer to Image Size" in the Layer menu.

Yes. Around palette is a white border with some width which is not that small. I need to learn GIMP tricks.

I'll do that in a week. I'm quite busy at a moment. Also, I'm learning tricks with gradient in GIMP.
