Specifically i am attempting to do heist of the century by trapping Elijah in the vault. Currently i am on the step to escape the vault without my head exploding. In reality i am sitting in the first room in the Casino Madre next to a locked [key required] door (this is after the elevator, after the suites, and into the lobby. As far as i can tell from reading the guides and the wikis this is wrong. After 4 hours of not completing this quest i cant figure out what i'm doing wrong

I don't know whats wrong, but I do know they probably wont patch anything anytime soon as their full attention is probably on Fallout while Obsidian works on South Park

Apparently this is just plan broken.

If your a Ps3 or Xbox 360 user, your SOL, don't play the ad-don. One of the more recent updates caused an issue with a script involving the elevator in the vault. I couldn't find any specifics.

if your a PC user there is a player made ad on that changes the way *all* Zone doors work that makes this quest complete-able, then you have to disable it if you ever want to zone . Another option is a Geck made file that lets you skip the addon altogether and get all the rewards. Well i got the steam achievement, and i'm keeping the bug fix file. YET AGAIN, the fix comes from the modding community months before the official patch.

Good luck finishing this, i'm not saying it isn't possible, but it really looks that way.

Lots of people have finished this DLC on all platforms, I've finished it multiple times on the PC without any sort of mod. It is a bug filled quest from what I hear, never had one myself. If the wiki doesn't help then I suggest googling your question.
