My goal for Morrowind

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 10:33 pm

Told from the point of view of an old adventurer:
This is it. I have had enough in my life, and this is clearly the best thing for me. Sure, I defeated Dagoth Ur. Yes, I saved Morrowind and hell, Tamriel as well. These errands people send me on, they have no more meaning, and I know this decision is the best.

I am going to have every exterior cell "discovered" on my world map.
What is a better way to experience the true beauty of Morrowind? It's not in the writing, it's not in the plot, it's not in the lore, it's not in the combat or the magic. It's in the world. Cyrodil is nothing compared to the natural landscapes and formations of Vvardenfell. It is the only way to truly appreciate the work and effort put into this rich island.
Oh, by the way, I know they started with a random generation and went for there.

I too love exploring...
I like to swim all the way around the island only coming to land to sell stuff. That is a really fun way to RP when you think you've seen it and done it all; even if you haven't.

Better yet, have every interior cell discovered, too. ;) I know I haven't done that, and never will. The game is so huge! There are people who claim to have played it all, but I don't think they are too many in numbers.

For some reason, I don't even remember what each Morrowind dungeon contains, so, I get some surprises repeatedly! :P

Also one thing I haven't really done is do that swimming thing all over. I'm not a big fan of water in games. Kinda afraid of drowning. And sea monsters... Anyhow, came across Mudan Grotto once by chance. Now that was a neat place.

I've considered that, but it is harder to keep track of. The world map is displayed very nicely.

This one believes that as one explores, one should also make note of such persons he crosses... and perhaps kills them, for fun. J'rahzir would join you with exploring and slaughtering, but J'rahzir knows his fur is not as warm as his heart when he sees brother or sister Khajiit in Dunmer chains.

In chains? You mean where they belong? Khajiit are low, dirty, sugarhappy idiots. We of the Dunmeri race do well to put them next the slimy lizards at the market.

Well, you did, at least. That was until Breaks-Old-Curses, the gruff yet lovable Argonian Nerevarine, slaughtered every single Dunmer on the map, freeing all the slaves in the process.

Forgive J'rahzir if he purrs like a kitten, but Khajiit is fine with this. J'rahzir also wishes to inform you that he joined the Stormcloaks because of their acknowledgement of the Dunmer as a lesser yet far more arrogant being.

Deekus, the bookish Argonian scribe will make sure to compose epic commentaries and ballads singing the praises of this most noble of Marshbrothers! All hail Breaks-Old-Curses!
