Nope she's not adventuring in that, and I don't take it the wrong way at all.
Neither she nor Vilja wear anything much and not because I am a dirty tech perv either but because - (but not limited to)...
1. We have been through loads of armour and not one has really been ..."right", if you will.
2. Both characters now have enough body decoration that they aren't really naked per-se, anymore.
3. The more the characters evolve the more naturalistic they have become - as I said before: think Celts, but equally many cultures hunt and "venture forth" extremely successfully wearing VERY little indeed.
4. It's not my/our world, the social mores that govern me - (God Forbid) - walking out of my front door wearing nothing but piercings and tattoos do not, in Niamh's Cyrodiil, govern her.
5. Wearing very little is not the same as having perfectly manicured fingernails. As I've mentioned; if I was good enough I would make their hair look greasy and unwashed and cover their bodies in dirt and blood and scum.
Thank you for the explanation. The reason I ask is that I haven't seen any naked NPCs in the game world, apart from some attackers in a small unfriendly village southwest of the Weynon Priory. It seems that everyone is wearing clothes and going around in thongs seemed to me like very far from the Cyrodiilic norm, whereas in the cultures you mentioned, going to battle nearly or completely naked (but covered in dubious war paint) was the standard. But then again, I also have a few characters planned with certain quirks that set them apart from most, if not nearly all, NPCs.
And I have to agree with you regarding the armor. I admit I haven't seen much of the game yet, but when my first character put on the leather armor found on the unlucky adventurer in the first "cave" room, I was like "Whaaaaaat?! Leather armor looks so baggy?!". It was awful.
