I'm working on the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Separated_at_Birth quest. Naturally, the game CTDs seconds after I enter the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Newlands_Lodge. It's happened four times now, so I'm assuming it's not going away on its own; also, this is the first time the game's acted this way for me (it CTDs every day, but never predictably).

Any ideas or fixes?

"Solution:" I waited outside until 8:00 PM. Some of the Orcs inside left the building and wandered off. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Guilbert_Jemane didn't leave, as he was supposed to. I went back in, clicked through his dialogue as quickly as possible, and left the building. Moments later, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Guilbert_Jemane came out and started his treck toward Chorrol.

I've read about these CTDs happening to other people. You don't appreciate them until they happen to you, however.
