New York, A story of a dude doing those things

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 7:47 am

A man wearing reinforced leather armor and a desperado hat slowly creeped up a hillside with a scoped hunting rifle. He looked at his pitboy to see his wear abouts.
"Alright, as far as I can go, I don't want to wander off to far," the man wisphered to himself. He carefully slid the gun onto a rock and aimed at a wild brahman. "All alone, damn, just as I was hoping for some good meat, this thing is probably diseased and gone mad." Just as he said that two more appeared out from behind a rock. "Well, there is a God and you're in luck Teko." Teko lined up his shot at the heads, he carefully pulled the trigger and the round gashed all six necks, the Brahman quickly died of this injury and collapsed. "Better than I thought," Teko smiled. He walked over to the brahman and cut up the good meat and put it in a large bag meant for meat, he put it on his back and started due south. Within a hour he made it back to his camp.
"Hey Teko, howd it go?" A man holding a combat shotgun and wearing metal armor asked.
Teko smiled and answered, "Very dandy, I got three good looking brahman."
"Well glad it went well, but dont you think it'd be better if we took them back here to farm them?"
"We dont have the resources to do that, and we need the food at the moment, I'll go back out tomorrow and see what I can get, if its any good i'll bring them back to farm."
"Right, anyways, nice hunt," The man smiled and opened the gate to the camp. The camp was build in the old pre-war city of Manhattan, the location that the resided in was a four block area around where the empire state building was. The Empire state building blew in half when the bombs fell, part of it was still usable for living in and other uses. The area was gated off with razor sharp barb wire on top of it, it was also reinforced with plywood and 4 by 4's. Teko walked over to his shop that was accross the street from the front door of the empire state building. He entered his workshop where he saw his aprentice Fordo hunched over a crafting table sleeping from stress and exaustion.
"Fordo," Teko said lightly shaking him, "Fordo, wake up."
"Huh? Oh sorry, I've been working on this new idea and I guess I fell asleep," Fordo explained groaning in tiredness.
"Go home get some sleep, come back when your freshned up tomorrow," Teko told him walking over to his own work area where he had a blue brint layed out with a frame of a laser rifle laying on top of it.
"Ok Tek, I'll see ya tomorrow," Fordo ackowledge walking like a zombie out the door. After he walked out Teko went back to work on his laser rifle and with in 2 hours ad finished it with good quality and locked in in the gun case. After that he went to work on the wiring of the intercome system thay have set up around the whole camp. After he made sure everything was still green he went hom, which was somewhat connected to the shop, and went to bed. When he woke up and had eaten his food and got dressed, he walked back to his shop and saw Fordo sitting at the table again in thought, on the table was a balstic knife.
"Is this what you were straining yourself on, a ballaistic knife?" Teko asked stunned and confused.
"Not just any ballistic knife, explosive ballastic knife," Fordo explained smirking.
"Please don't kill us working on it," Teko said with a straight face but, was really pulling his leg.
"Coming from the one who collapsed one of the metro tunnels," Fordo looked over smiling.
"Technicly, that metro tunnel was usless, it lead no where, but I'll give it to you, touche," Teko chuckled. Teko then heard a sound, "Fordo back up!" Fordo backed up quick and the knife exploded enough that if he sat there he would have been hurt bad, but not enough to hurt him a few feet back.
"Ugh, well, thanks, saved me," Fordo said somewhat out of breath and embarrassed.
"In a way, I was saving my own ass, Lily would have killed me," Teko smirked. Shortly after Fordo had gotten back up, alarms started going off. Teko and Fordo looked at eachother and ran out of the workshop looking around. The men stationed at the east wall were firing down at something or force large enough to cause alarm.
"All Troops not stationed to a post, report to the East wall, I repeat, report to the East wall," the intercome voice ordered. Teko drew his Rifle and Sprinted off to the wall.
"Ah [censored], this can't be good, fight well my friends," Fordo sighed. He walked back into the workshop and went back to work carefully monitering the situation. Fordo is not trained in being a Trooper yet so he does not report to the first call, which is Troops, or in other words, men actually trained for real fighting. In an extrem case, anyone capable of fighting is called, which would include Fordo.
"Overlord, rear right flank," Teko ordered. A rocket troop to his right aimed on the overlords feet and fired. The blast didnt Kill the overlord, but it knocked him off his feet as well as killing a few Masters that surounded him. Teko then aimed on the overlords head and fired, the blast had taken the overlords helmet off, making it weak enough for the bullet to rip open the skull. After the overlord was down the Super mutants started getting annoyed. Some of the mutants gave up and fled. Ther others went into a rage and got careless, making it even easier to kill them than the ones fleeing. Within ten minutes of the overlords death, the battle was over, and the men had looted all the bodys for ammo, and other suplas such as the weapons for spare parts. Teko had made one last scan of the area, then returned to his workshop.
"So, how'd it go?" Fordo asked being a [censored] as Teko walked in.
"I got to rip open an overlords skull, that's always fun to do, well, for you it's watch," Smirked back.
"Touche," Fordo chuckled, "I think I actually just about got a reliable prototype down."
"Let me see," Teko insisted leaning over Fordos back. Teko suggested a few modifications to do and then the work was done.
"Care to try?" Fordo asked with a smirk holding the knife out. Teko grabbed the knife and shot down the testing rang at a dummy. The knife stuck in, but didnt explode. "Aw what a dissa-" Fordo was cut off by the knife exploding and putting a crater in the wall. Teko looked at Fordo and handed him the hilt of the knife.
"Now you have to make more," Teko said winking.
"Watch it," Fordo luaghed. Teko walked into his private quarters and took a shower to get the smell of blood and blood off of him.

A little bit of proofreading before posting will correct that. Not to mention, most browsers like Firefox and Chrome will automatically underline incorrectly spelled words, like MS Word will, and if you right click it will even auto suggest the correct spelling. :)

After his shower Teko lied down in his bed to sleep after a long day. When he woke the next day
he walked into his workshop and went through paperwork that people of the safe haven dropped
off reguarding malfunctioning machins, guns or other electronics and also requests for certain
items that simply need to be remade overtime. There were also requests for certain items that
are some what prototype ideas or upgrades to curtain items.
"I need a break," Teko sighed as he started filling out paper work then worknig on the requests
that he had approved. Teko heard a kind of thumpin sound and looked around the room and found
nothing. Teko heard the sound again, looked, and again nothing. The sound started to be louder
and not eltting up, but Teko decided to ignore it. A man then burst in to the room looking
panic.
"We require your assistance!" The man said in shock. Teko hopped up and closed the folder to
the paperwork he was worknig on. Instictivly, he grabbed his gun on his way out, and his gut
told him to hide a powerfist in his armor. He didn't understand why but he did it, and did it
well. Teko walked out the door with the man to see Vertibirds flying about, and one about to
land in the middle of the street outside of Tekos workshop. A man, wearing this big clunky
metal suit, that Teko could tell was no ordinary metal suit of armor, and eyed it suspiciously.
"Who are you?" Teko asked nodding his head quick at the man. The man was smoking a cigar as he
walked out. The man took out his cigar, reveling a scar on his lip, and accross his face. His
face had a leathery like texture to it and had signs of long experience on the front line in
battles. On his back he had a unique weapon, that Teko also didn't regonize, but his pip-boy
had similar like drawing of a weapon to it.
"I'm Captain Harse, I'm from the Enclave. You've got an interesting city here..?" Captain Harse
said leading for a name.
"Names Teko. Why are you here?" Teko asked, annoyed.
"We want you to help us when we need help, you obviously could use our help. You look stressed,
am I right?" Captain Harse said with a smirk putting the cigar back in his mouth.
"We don't need your help, nor will we help you, we support ourselves, and you look like you can
handle yourselves just fine without us," Teko glared.
"We're at war with another group, similar tech as us, we cou-"
"Then we difinatly won't help, we're not fighting a fight you can't finish when we just met you. On top of that, against a group with better tech than us. We don't exactly have large numbers either. All we want to do is live, and have a nice social life inside our own walls, on the outside is not our buisness," Teko interupted and spoke back boldly. The Captain made a hand mothion and the vertibirds started firing warning shots at the citizens and the ground troops with the Captain raised weapons to the citizens around Teko. The Captaion took out his pistol, similar to the rifle on his back, and aimed it at Teko.
"Come with me, or you all suffer now," The captain ordered. Teko thought a second, then nodded and walked into the vertibirde with the Captain, who took Teko's gun.

The flight over was unusual to Teko, being he's never been off the ground. When they landed the
door opened and the Captain Shoved Teko out and two men wearing full armor knocked him out and
dragged his uncouncious body inside and into an interogation room. Teko woke with is hands tied
and behind his back. When his vison stopped wolboling and unblured he saw another man he hasn't
seen yet sitting infron of him with a metal table between them. On the table was the mans
helmet and it had much wear on it.
"Who are you?" Teko asked feeling grogy and pissed.
"Master Seargent Roy, I will be smacking sense into you," Roy said with a grin glaring into
Tekos eyes.
"Hardly a fair fight with my hands tied, too scared to smack me with my hands untied," Teko
chuckled.
"Hardly, if you must think im scared, I'll untie you, you pose no threat with bare hands
versouse my metal suit," Roy smiled. Roy got up and walked behind Teko and untied his hands.
Roy walked back to other side of the table and leaned foward on it putting both hands on it
looking at Teko who was still sitting. "Happy?" Roy asked sarcasticly.
"Yeah," Teko luaghed rubbing his sore wrist then his sore neck. Teko got up and strecthed and
in the process of getting up Roy backed off expecting him to swing.
"You have to understand, we know whats best for a group, of, of savages. You have no tech, your
jsut a group of savivors of the west who banded together, you're probably no better than a
group of raiders," Roy scolded.
"Savages?" Teko chuckled, "Hardly savages. We have government suprisingly. A court. An economy
of sorts. In our econmoy there is no rich, there is no poor, probably the only true fair
government. Everyone has a say in what goes on. Food is distrabuted based on the metabolism of
their job. Someone who works papers will get less than one who hunts deathclaw nests. A system
of trade is set up for collecting items for ones home by trading items someone else wants for
something you want. There is no violence within the walls, for everyone is armed, mess with one
person and don't back down, you'll either die, or be evicted to the wastleand, which is a death
wish, no one wants to leave our safe haven. I don't think our group counts as 'savages'," Teko
scoulded. Teko Turned to the wall and carefully took out his power fist without Roy noticing.
Roy turned around to look out the doors window. Teko looked behind him to see where Roy was
looking, and saw it was now the time to act. Teko Slipped the power fist on slammed the table
up against Roy. Roy threw a punch at Teko, but Teko blocked and threw a punch back landing it
squar in Ropys face. Roys faced cracked by the power of the punch and he collapsed, his face
bleeding from several locations. Teko searched his body and found a identical to the one the
Captain had. Teko also grabbed some cells stuff that looked like it goes into the pistol. He
ran out the door and immiditatly a guard shouted at him. He aimed the pistol and shot it at the
guarding landing a head shot and the guards helmet melting to a gooey substance that made the
guard scream and Teko fired again finishing the guard.
"Oh, I love this," Teko Smiled.

If you are having problem with Microsoft word right now I reccomend OpenOffice. It works pretty much identically to Word but it is free. And if you get Word later on you will still be able to open your openoffice stuff with it.
