That doesn't mean it's going to happen. With all the rich history and such that these various parts of the US have, there's nothing to stop them from going to them, as long as they can grab enough of that history and make it something interesting for a wasteland. It's not all a rerun, the history of all these places is all very different, even though at some points, they overlap, but still there's plenty of individual history to look into and exploit.

Lower Florida and the Caribbean islands would be cool.

Incorporating Florida and the Caribbean, would be too much for the kind of engine and map, Beth works with. The best they could do is the southern tip of Florida, and some of the islands in the Florida Keys. But reaching out to places like Cuba, Haiti/Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc. would be too big for Bethesda and their engine to handle.

I think FO4 will be located in Chicago.. Just because of all the talk about it from NV and it's DLC's.. Ya..
