Having played Fallout3 many years ago I reckon its dark atmosphere would suit my tastes better than the yellowy sands of the Mojave desert, however the inclusion of the iron sights view in New Vegas weighs the balance heavily on its side. Besides I'm sure by now there must be some good weather mods that allow you to customize the weather colors.
Anyways, after a personal war with myself (I abhor steam) , I gave in and bought falloutNV. I just finished installing and testing, and now I'm looking for mods that would make the game as similar to a First Person Shooter as possible and by that I mean, Increased weapon damage, lower player and NPCs health, adjusted AI so that they don't mindlessly charge in front of the bullets with a bat, disable VATS and most important detach weapon damage and accuracy from the weapons skill. In fallout3 this was the biggest turn off for me,
I took a look at a very interesting Mod called Project Nevada, at Newvegasnexus. I like very much its gameplay changes as far as combat mechanics is related and I will install it. But I wonder if perhaps there are other less popular mods that change the combat mechanics even further to make it more like an FPS.
I realize there probably is no mod that completely detaches weapon damage from the weapons skill, but I'm willing to mod that on my own.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
