I have run into a little bit of a problem when trying to Mod my Fallout NV, basically the Date files located at C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data such as; Meshes, Textures etc. are in BSA format in the and thus I cannot easily add any third party meshes/textures.
I had a quick look at packing and unpacking the BSA files using FO3Edit (Not sure if the NV version is called the same, but I used the right one), however I couldn't seem to get my head around the process, it is rather long to unpack the current BSA's and then repack them every time I want to add a Mod, I had no success with this method anyway.
So what I am am basically asking is there anyway to convert the BSA files into folders? or is there a more effective way of installing Mods when this is the case? Also does anybody know why they are in BSA format in the first place, at first I thought it may be Steam specific but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Much appreciated,
Regards
