Telvanni Mushroom

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 4:05 am

I guess this is a general enough question to fit in this section. >.>

I need the help of someone who still has this game installed: Could you post an unmodded, top-down view picture of a Telvanni Mushroom house? It's for a project I am working on, so you'll have my sincerest thanks and, if you want, a sneak peek of the mod I am working on, though it is for Skyrim.

I didn't mean to imply Morrowind is unpopular, only that it's old... which come to think of it is likely another statement of mine that can be taken negatively. Sorry. T_T

But when you do get home, just maybe you'll spare a thought for a poor chicken needing help.

Probably tons of references and pictures available, but finding a "top down" view is going to be tough. I'm not at home, so I don't have access to the game (it's been permanently installed, and frequently used, on every PC I've owned since I bought it), otherwise I'd send you a screenshot from a levitating character's perspective.

I could help you if..
- I actually knew what is "a top-down view". Picture taken from the roof / levitating slightly above it, and facing down? @_@
- you clarified a bit of what you mean with "a mushroom house". An actual house? Or a Telvanni Tower? There are many mushoom-like Telvanni buildings.

Plus I'm sure that Google can help you. Still I can take a screenshot if you told me what exactly should I do.

Uh, yeah, I googled "top-down view" and will get you the pic(s) now. Both from tower and house. Editing this again soon.
I hope these'll do: http://imageshack.us/g/33/telnagaalternative.png/. They're all from Sadrith Mora. A few pics from Master Neloth's tower Tel Naga, Council House, Gateway Inn and other random mushroom houses.

I would've appreciated some bit more accurate instructions though. Oh, and I could've turned off the rain, but it occurred to me only after taking the shots, so, there?

I suppose I probably shouldn't have assumed posters here would be familiar with video game terms. A top-down view, otherwise know as top down perspective, is basically a 'god's view'; you're up in the air and looking down at the game. Used in war simulation games and etc. You're probably more familiar with a its close cousin, isometric view. I figure such screen shots would be easy to get in Morrowind because of levitation, or just flat out using the console. Well, easy for those that have the game installed.

Couldn't remember what an unmodded Telvanni mushroom house looked like, though yes, I did first try searching with google. Didn't find a decent pic of a house that I could be certain wasn't modded, especially from the angle that I wanted.

Those pics are indeed from the proper and etc that I want, Archmagister Nelacayne, thank you very much. Didn't just get one pic, either. Now sending PM. >.>
