fallout 1 and 2 on a mac

Hallo i am a Mac user, i've the new mac book with the integrated gma x3100 video card. since the new OSX patch fallout i no more playable because apple seems to have removed the 256 color mode from the gma x3100 videocard

is possible from bethesda to release a patch that fix that thing like blizzard done with diablo 2? to let the game to be played in open gl?

would be nice..

oh and if some 1 got my same problem and he had fixed it please say it to me

Bethesda may have the Fallout license but the original games are still Interplay's property, so anything relating to these games (sales, patches, etc.) is still in Interplay's hands.

Actually, Interplay can only sell the games as they are. They can't even patch them without Bethesda's permission.

But Chris Avellone mentioned recently in the Interplay forum that they're planning a new release of Fallouts for Mac, so they might fix the issue then.
