So going to Freeside was a challenge, not because its a dangerous place... but simply because there were alot of bugs and screen freezes.

Main problem was trying to return a quest to 'the King' - as every time i entered the building of that gang, he would simply vanish, but i could hear his dog barking.


Another problem i have encountered involved the Van Graffs in Silver Rush. As i went into hide, and lockpicked the armor at their entrance (Van Graff Combat Armor), i could not throw the item away, even though i did not have the related quest yet. Doing the quest resulted in having a piece of armor that could not be thrown away, or sold, i could wear it however.
(solution to this bug, is to simply kill everyone inside Silver Rush... )

Did you look everywhere in the building? I went in and had the same thing happen- he wasn't sitting by the stage like usual, and I could hear Rex barking. I found him on another floor in his bedroom. I can't remember where he was exactly as I'm not near my console but he should still be in the building.

I searched the whole building, watched my compass as i did, it just went spinning everytime i got near, as if he was exactly where i stood, the dogs barking became louder as well.

Solution was to simply reload a save, he was in front of the stage again when i did... but sometimes he's 'gone'.

That's odd. Glad you were able to fix it by just reloading!
