Umm. . .Question

I fully understand using the Construction Set for worldbuilding. YET, I have come across something in which I was wondering fixes. . .

Is there any mod or anything, that will extend the View of regions in the CS? It can be a real pain trying to build a large land mass, especially, buildings and stuff, when there is a small-area to work with before it cuts off.

Nope.

Its auto-extending.

Auto-extending as in, no matter how much you add onto an area it will extend.

you can make the work window bigger, but that's about it. It'll add more land if you scroll in one direction, or if you click on something distant. but it will get rid of other land in the window to do it.

hmm; Doesn't seem to do anything then. Because, I have a square set of water/land, which consists of multiple regions, 4-6 I think. However, the land-editor will not work at the of edges of these squares.

So I am unable to texture, Mold landscape or anything. Even when I "Place objects on the outside of this square chunk, the objects don't reveal, and it won't load other regions around it.

if the cell is empty, like, drop a rock into it and then right click that rock - it should load in and focus on that cell, then you can edit it.

you get that problem when you work on a cell outside of the one listed at the top of your work sceen. just open it on the cell you want to work in using the cell navigation window. You just gotta be working closer. edit, ninja'd that works too.

There is only so much area that the CS can display at one time. You can expand on it by increasing the clipping distance, but that will only go so far. And it's laggy as hell, depending on how much stuff you're looking at.
