How do I mod the 360

Hey everyone, I have watched some youtube videos on how to mod the 360 but they are all kind of hard to understand. Could I get a detailed description on how to mod the 360? I know I need an xport 360 or an xsata, im going to get an xport 360 though, thanks for your time and help! :nothanks:
