Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition!

I don't have my copy anymore cause I had to sell almost everything I owned. But I'm slowly buying everything back and I will probably just get the anniversary edition.

Never sell the gems! The anniversary is a good choice, or the GotY. They contain the same stuff which is KotN and Shivering Isles, the anniversary has a behind the scenes disc too. If you want the full manual you should get the GotY as the anniversary only has a shortened version of it. They both have full maps though.

I have had four, now three. The first copy I got I eventually sold when I thought I was done with the game. A few months later, I realised I was foolish, and bought anoter copy. Then I decided I'd get all the DLC when the GOTY edition came out and bought that. Afterwards, I decided I wanted to get the 5th Anniversary version, and bought that too.

3 for me.

The first was back when I as 12, I'm 17 now, and my friend sold it to me for £10, but after installing it and it didn't work, I sold it to another friend for £15. :yuck:

Then when I got my Xbox, one of the first games I bought was an original Oblivion, map, guide and everything, and this Christmas I got a voucher for GAME, and bought Black and White 2 Collectors edition and the 5th anniversary addition of Oblivion, which was only about £12, I thought it would be more.

I'm buying a good laptop / or desktop next year for College, and can't wait to play this game again. As for Skyrim, if my computer's good enough, I'll get that too, but if not, I'll just wait 'til I get another xbox.

Haha hopefully yes! I had to ask the seller just to make sure "It does contain the coin right?". It must be the most sought after oblivion collectors item. Considering near enough anyone who sells the collector's edition says "NO COIN INCLUDED!!!"

Should you decide for some reason that you don′t want it, let me know

Sounds like the 5th anniversary is all you miss then, besides the original release? :)

Haha, I think I will be keeping it ;). Also, is there anything worth collecting in the 5th anniversary edition? I'm not really aware of its contents.

I have the GotY edition because I never really felt the need to buy a new copy of the game no matter how big of a fan I am.

Hi Everyone,

I want to have all the DLC from the Deluxe edition but don't want to pay Deluxe Steam pricing!

I was told that IF I buy KOTN that I will have 8 of the 9 DLC.

Can I combine my Oblivion GOTY edition disc set with the standalone KOTN to get an almost Deluxe Oblivion GOTY or not?

IF not, Where can I buy the physical Deluxe Oblivion GOTY?

Thank you kindly!

Yes. The KotN DLC Collection disc has everything except Battlehorn Castle, and it will work fine with your GotY edition game.

What you get extra is a behind the scenes disc from when they made the game. Besides that you get what you get in the GotY; the game of course, Shivering Isles, KotN and a combined map of Cyrodiil and the Isles. The manual in the anniversary edition is not as extensive as in the other releases unfortunately.

Is the behind the scenes disc the same one that you get in the Collector's edition?

I can′t say really as I have no idea what comes with the collector′s edition. But if that has a behind the scenes too then I would suspect it′s the same.
