is there any way to stop slo mo...

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 4:33 am

When there are multiple enemies and I enter VATS mode to take out...say, the first 2...it goes into slo motion to do so. While I'm in slo mo the other enemies are still fighting me and I can't do anything until the slo mo stops. Anyway to turn that effect off or not? just wondering, not really that big of a deal.

Not that I know of, though there might be a mod for it if you're on the PC. This is just one of the disadvantages of VATS, though its not really a disadvantage because you get a massive boost to your damage resistance which effectively makes VATS a near god mode...in Fallout 3 at least.

Don't use VATS. Or use VATS for two or less only.

Or just don't use VATS.....

But no OP, there's isn't any way to stop slo-mo in vats. However, don't worry about getting hit in it, you won't take damage.

I believe you still take 10% damage.

I have died in VATS mode so it's not a full god mode

Yes there is a bit of a bleed-through, but as long as you aren't at the cusp of dying its basically negligible.

Unless you are using the MIRV or something like that.
