OKay just bought this game. I bought it through steam. so not sure if this is a correct place to get support. everytime I try to run the game i get an error. I click play and then it brings me to the the fallout 3 mini screen, where I only have the option to Install I click install and then get the error "fallout3 is not installed nor can it find the installer please search your dvd rom drive" when I ran the game the first time I got the .Net error and fixed that trough the control panel. please help. Im am now trying to redownload the game.

Its not a new comp by anymeans but can play alot of new games. does this sound like a hardware issue? sounds like an installer issue to me.

no I did not! that may be the problem. I downloaded patch 1.7 from fileplanet to use after the download is finished. but may not have to use it. im at 60% so I will inform you if that works! thanks.
