Monthly Writing Contest February Edition

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 6:31 am

Lookin forward to this months theme. I'll be able to submit something I think. If a theme isn't already in the works yet, maybe we can do something along the lines of Eye for an Eye or Revenge to make up for last months more brighter theme?
The winner gets to pick the theme.

Yes, as Styles said the winner picks the theme for the following month's contest; it's one of the awards for winning -- along with getting your name in the Hall of Fame.

Yeah, which also leads me to the question, Tycho are you guys close to finding out the winner?

Yes, in fact we are discussing it right now.

A winner will be posted tomorrow no matter what, and maybe tonight if every judge weighs in.

Sorry that this is a little bit late, but here are the top entries for February:

Spoiler

1) Hope is Come by Schmuty Buncis :celebration:

2) Project Hope by Sniper Shack

Picking the winner was a tough choice and the judges enjoyed reading all of your entries, so thank you to everyone who entered in February. We hope to see you enter again next month,

The reason both 1st and 2nd place are shown is because Sniper Shack's story was a very close second place and we wanted Project Hope to be recognized for how close it came to winning. So congratulations to both Schmuty and Sniper! :celebration:

Schmuty, whenever you have next month's theme PM one of the judges and we'll start a new thread.

Congratulations Schmuty! And thank you to the judges for the special mention. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Bring on March.
