Can't bypass "add 1 point to S.P.E.C.I.A.L." after L

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 3:45 am

After I finished Lonesome Road (I launched the missile at the Legion) I am offered the "add 1 point to any S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute" for getting the "merciful thug " perk, but mt attributes are all at 10 and "Done X)" is darkened to where I cannot proceed with out adding a point. Not sure what to do here so that I can continue to play the game.

On the xbox, you can't get all of your special points to 10, it is impossible without cheating.

Reload a save from before you put that last SPECIAL point in. If you were on PC, you could've used console commands to lower one of your SPECIAL attributes.

If you don't have a save from before then, start a new game, or don't do Lonesome Road.

Yeah, a freind of a friend of mine figured out a way to start the game with every stat at 100% and all weapons ever created and some moded weapons and all armor and so on. It's pretty damn fun I must say, I had lost interest after beating the game until he showed me this.

Yeah, no way for me to lower them so I've started a new game and I'm going straight into Lonesome Road. The ending gives me the impression that if you play Lonesome Road before doing most of the main quest in New Vegas that some story elements may turn out differently.
