Cheatmode question

Running in Dosbox, the F5 map cheat does not work on my set-up. Can anyone tell me how to enable it? Thanks in advance!

Did one open up the file z.cfg and add in the line following line?

The only map cheat I'm aware of is F1-Ctrl.
What's the F5 cheat supposed to do?

That was my mis-typing, sorry. I am trying to figure out how to get the map-cheat to work in dosbox. Ctrl-F1 brings up a dosbox mini-window, and does not open up the maps. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Hold down F1, then press Ctrl.

Jeabo is correct. CTRL+F1 is a DOSbox command (thus the command is intercepted before DF sees it), but F1+CTRL is not and DF still recognizes it.
