Inventory drops

got oblivion from friend. How do you drop excess inventory?

On 360, press X to drop. In the Market District, near Palonyira's shop, there are three open-topped grain sacks. These will be safe for you all game, or, until you have enough gold for the home of your choosing.

On PC, to drop an item, Shift-click on the item. It will drop when you close your inventory.
