Is there any way to turn of the map indicators? Or preferably the entire HUD?
Cant find a option for it.

There is a command console command to turn off the hud. More info on the command console here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console

There are also mods for it, if you only want to take out certain markers IE quest

Edit: also see that you want to take out the entire hud... in that case use the console as Acadian said

I play without a HUD from time to time. It's a very interesting way to play. Batlles can get tense because you often aren't sure how much health you have left. It gets a little too nerve-wracking for me awhile awhile so I have to turn it back on, eventually.

If you're talking about the quest marker, the simplest thing is just to set the Nirnroot Quest (or some other non-marker quest) as your active quest.

Yea, you can toggle the nirnroot quest on. You can also just activate any quest that you're not actively following. I think the nirnroot one is the best option though, if you eventually want zero markers on your map.

I agree if all you want is to get rid of the red or green pizza slice beacons on your map. The quest cited above works for that of course. I use the Venerable Vintage quest that you can get in Weye very early in the game. :twirl:

Umbacano's quests also work in placing no markers.... but only up to a certain point, before you start being specific in your search.
I generally use the Nirnroot quest, I like the mid-range potions the best, so tend to never complete the Nirnroot quest, giving me no map markers as long as I choose this for all eternity.

I have the museum quest from Shivering Isles :) But really, there should be an option not having any quest selected at all.
