Yesterday i bought Oblivion 5th aniversery edtion, i installed it and it worked fine. Then i downloaded some mods with Oblivion mod manager, but for some reason they did not work. Then i unistalled Oblivion and installed it back. But now even if i dont have any mods on it crashes when Bethesda logo pops up. Im using Vista BTW. I know these threads have been made before, but i think itst better to make a new one so if someone tries to help i can ask questions. Any help would be really nice!

You have omitted all of the information that represents the difference between playing on a PC and on a console, where problems can be originating. Without all the omitted data, no one can respond usefully.

When you uninstalled the game, did you remove all the mod stuff and your old Oblivion.ini (in your Documents folder)? Uninstalling the game doesn't remove things that you added after the game was first installed.

(And this is only for the raw hardware & driver variations. Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)
