I was confused about that too. I did some stuff, and came back and talked to the Elder and he had a new quest for me. Once you do that you're a paladin and you get the training.

The NCR is loosely against the BoS, but doing all their quests has no impact on any other factions as far as I can tell. I don't think I did their quest line correctly/completely (I think they bugged up) however, so you never know. Yes, doing all their quests will let you join them.

Umm gratz...

Do all the quests for BoS there and they will let you take a final quest then you join their ranks thus learning how to wear power armor, I did that today lolz

EDIT: Also they give you a key to the safehouse which ROCKS a lot and has a water fountain which was amazing on hardcoe IMO

I found the safehouse kind of lackluster. The drinking fountain was nice though.

their is also one bunker that you can go inside without a locked door lol thats how i found it

Just an FYI-Veronica will get you into the bunker with no lockpicking necessary. She can be found by following the highway from Novac north towards Vegas; the trading post is on the way.

Is there anywhere else to get PA training from besides the Brotherhood? I'm definitely gonna do all the Brotherhood missions anyways, because I love 'em to death, but just wondering if there's any way for me to wear Power Armor sooner. I found the patrol on the way to Black Mountain like 20 minutes into the game, so I am already the proud owner of 2 suits of T-51b armor.

you killed the patrol? if u did u better hope it doesnt conflict with the boS quest or cause game crashes or freezes. and even if it doesnt u might not b able to do any of thier quest if u have a bad rep with them. for example i have a bad rep with The Great Khans therefore certin quest i cant do which is very anoying bcus i like to finsh all quest in a region b4 moving on. so try to keep faction killing to a minimal. and idk any other way to get PA training except from thm.

Has anyone else had a problem with part of the quest chain for the BoS? One of the options when collecting the away team holotapes is to return them to the dude who wants to overthrow the elder - I have that as an objective on my quest status, but he doesn't have any option for me to give them to him. Is very frustrating >.<

give the tape to McNamara 1st thn go talk to Hardin and u will have the option. but im goin to finsh hlpin mcnam thn talk to hardin about that overthrowing.

I found an abandoned Brotherhood of Steel bunker around an area in the south where a bunch of dead NCR bodies were being used by Caesar's Legion fools as booby traps with frag mines under them.

There was some regular ammo and bent tin cans and stuff inside.. doez i win sumfing?
