Fallout 3 dlc′s

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 2:55 pm

Hey, i just bought the fallout NV ultimate edition few weeks ago, and i just love having DLC`s (first time i actually try using dlc′s) and i have been a fallout 3 veteran since, about 3 months after it came out, and i was just wondering, if i should invest in the dlc′s there. Heard Mothership zeta was bad, but i would love to try it, since it has alien weapons. What do you think, are the dlc′s worth it?

Definitely! Fallout DLCs are great extra content, not just stuff cut from the main game. Loads of extra quests, locations and weapons to have fun with.

Broken Steel allows you to play after the ending, The Pitt and Point Lookout have great stories. Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta are ok (still haven't played Zeta) yet, and worth a run through.

BS is a fairly interesting addition to the main game, adds some closure to the BoS vs Enclave battle, plus give you the option for a pretty major change in the wasteland. Plus it lets you carry on!
MZ, it's fun, but I don't feel it belongs in a fallout game! Alien weapons are cool though.
OA, don't really enjoy it, but the rewards of finishing it are pretty awesome.
PL gives you a lot more space to explored, it's very interesting and different.
The Pitt is probably the best, great new area, new story, tough decisions. Morality has rarely been so far from black and white.

Game
Of
The
Year

that has Fallout 3 & all the DLC together for less than paying for them individually

Pfuhh i knew that, i was just... testing you.
And yeah already bought fallout 3, but i was considering turning that (and a few other old games) in Gamestop for the fallout game of the year edition with all the dlc′s, jsut wanted to know if it was worth it.

I think that depends on the platform of choice (since you didn't mention what you'll be playing on)

Fallout 3 game of the year edition is only $20.00, definitely worth the money. I actually bought it yesterday.

Mothership Zeta was horrible. It was a joke taken way too far.

The Pitt had the most awesome feel and a neat quest-line.

Operation Anchorage had more of a call-of-duty/first person shooter feel, and I did not find it very desirable. Had some nice rewards, though.

Point Lookout was my favorite. It had a very well fleshed-out quest chain, as well as the fact that it tied into the Old World quite a bit (something I am quite interested in), and had awesome characters.
