Fallout 3 Broken Steel, a good ending?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 9:40 am

I bought Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition (all DLC included) a few months ago and have played it back and forth ever since.
I have now completed all quests in all DLC:s except for Broken Steel. I love the Fallout 3 Original ending, how you sacrifice yourself for "The Greater Good" (that was my ending anyway).
But with the DLC Broken Steel, you wake up again without a scratch and you are back to being pushed around. I want a good end to my Fallout 3-adventure and I was wondering if Broken Steel will give it to me or if I should uninstall and stay with the original ending? Do not spoil the BS ending for me, please

Broken Steel has a pretty good conclusion where there's also a nice choice to be made, but after that the game continues.

Okay, thanks.

More people tend to complain that there is really not enough options to play an evil character in the main quest.

If you are looking for a similar feeling that the old ending had, then dont worry, keep playing!

I might be in the minority but I feel that the original ending for Fallout 3 is superior to Broken Steels ending. I felt that the ending for Fallout 3 got watered down with Broken Steel, it didn't feel as good as the original.

Agreed. Though don't get me wrong, I freaked out when I finished FO3 before Broken Steel came out. After playing BS, I wish the level cap was back to 20, but you could continue on. Limits the late-stage-overpoweredness that you find in Bethesda games.
