The origins of your character in Fallout 4

I had an idea

You wake up from cryogenic suspension and realize you’re in a vault. You’re immediately put onto a rickety conveyor belt with other dazed vault dwellers. If you listen in you can hear them start to talk about the war with the Chinese, last night’s baseball game, and other pre-war topics.None of them know that over 200 years have passed.
There are Vault-Tec robobrains patrolling around making sure everyone stays in line. You could chat with the person in front of you if you want, giving you a chance to explain who you were. You could also just say you don’t remember. After a while the conveyor belt will stop and a pre-recorded voice will announce that everybody has been woken up to be drafted into the U.S (Enclave) Military! And that after 206 years half of the U.S has been reclaimed and that they are to assist in reclaiming the rest of America.
(btw I’m aware that the enclave is gone now, this is just a pre-recorded voice that probably projected the Enclave would have been more successful.)
You are then put into a training area where you get your Pip-boy and learn what V.A.T.S is and the controls for Fallout 4. The walls are made of glass in this room so you can see the other peoples progress, and they’re all getting slaughtered by the training robots. You notice some of them weren’t even given guns. After defeating a couple of robots you go to the next room to learn that you are the only survivor or the training and are given an Enclave Officers uniform and a 10mm pistol. You would then exit the vault and to the nearest enclave base marked on your map. The base has been converted to a small town like Megaton or Goodsprings where the actual adventure would start.

I had an idea for one.

You start out in a tribal town, they do not explain anything about your past. You could be a lost explorer who was staying there for a few days, a spy for a raider gang, or you could've lived there your whole life. But then a group called the Radiation (a group of ghouls who believe they're the next step in human evolution and who use humans as slaves) shows up and captures everybody, including you.

You escape from slavery and end up in a town that is in a conflict with the two main factions. You are known as the Escaped Slave.
Sounds a lot like Fallout 2.

Sounds a lot like Fallout 2.

But in F2 you were the son/daughter of the Elder and the one who was supposed to save your people from dying out.

In this you can RP that you have absolutely no link to that town very easily.

And it also leaves things very open for you to really be anybody along with making you part of an event. It wouldn't be like Lonesome Road where you're a blank slate except for one event four years before, in this one your a blank slate except for the opening scene when you are enslaved.

I know this may be a bit too bland, but what about you start the game walking into a bar, and the barmaid simply asks about your name and background (came from vault, tribal, wastelander, Brotherhood Outcast, Enclave remnant etc), and this determines which factions, if any you are on better or worse relationship with, bonuses or penalties for certain skills, places you can access from the start, what items you start with and what you are wearing - possibly even unique Pip Boys. It could be done in a similar fashion to choosing a perk. Appearances could be done in the restroom mirror. I'm not sure about choosing the SPECIAL stats. A poster or cubicle graffiti perhaps or maybe in the form of a restroom, err, dispenser, I don't know. And when you get back in to the main bar, that's when it all kicks off, I don't know, maybe it's attacked or something, and you have to get out, with option of helping the other people.

I know, it's quite bland and uninteresting.

You are a super soldier created by the Enclave and by Aliens you have half human DNA and half alien DNA. You are smart you are fast and you are strong you start your training to become an Enclave soldier at a very early age. You excel in your training.
