The irony in tes and fo

Clothing and armour are two different things. I'm not speaking for styles but I think he meant that armour shouldn't be made as an useless accesory.

You are right that is what I meant. I don't care if they added a system that let people play dress up with clothing. Being able to mix up pants, shirts, gloves, hats, ect, ect, ect.. I don't care about that.

What I don't want is for armours to be included with that. Armour has a real purpose, it should be turned into a fashion accessory. Metal Armours, Combat Armours and PA shouldn't be able to be mixed up. No Power Armour chest plate with metal armour pants or something like that.

what i cant see your problem, if you don't like mixing armor just use full set armor and stick whit that and let al other players have the possibility to combo the of armor parts we think is fun to have ...

and as i told you b4 nothing in game tech is in the way to do so ... after all its a single play game so it doesn't affect anyone ells of you decide to run around as a fruit- salad!

The more armor combinations there are the more things the game has to load, that means fewer NPC's on screen, that's why they cut back on the amount of armors variations for Skyrim, so that it could include more NPC's on screen and so that armor pieces wouldn't clip through each other.
So, do you want to have more NPC's on screen and armors actually looking good? Or do you want less NPC's just so you can have armors that clip through each other?

Everything comes at a price.
They do X then Y happens.
They focus too much on dungeons and we get [censored] writing and quest designs. (Skyrim)
They focus too much on storylines and we get a bland gameworld. (New Vegas)

I for one want more NPC's on screen, nothing is gained by being able to mix armor pieces except for more customization options, and sacrificing gameplay for the sake of looking like fashion victim is not something I'm willing to agree with it, ever.

well it was not that big problem in WoW many years ago for the PC to handle plenty of players on the same place ... the capital city full of ppl and pvparena whit 80 players .... yes if you didn't have the hottest PC it cud tack some time to load every character in the rome .... and the nr of npc′s in fallout and skyrim is not close the the amount of players in Ironforge Back in the day-es AH only existed there!

and also mots plases whit big numbers of npc′s is (at lest so far) not the normal combat area. Well i'm hope more big scale battles will come in the games when you can command a grope or so but that something ells ....

World Of Warcraft looks like crap though.
Also, it doesn't have physics or tons of items lying around that it has to load.
Like sporks... Or tin cans... Or all of the other pointless crap.

yes and WoW is about 10 years old so yes its not up to day graphic level, and the PC have bean upgraded a lot sins wow .... WoW was an 56 modem game can you play a online game whit that to day?

yes its a limited nr of dots a PC can keep track on and still not crash but its ways around npc′s armor sets ... its more a question about drops then a graphic thing. to aim on different body parts whit different AC is already implemented in the game.

Either you can't see it or I don't have a firm grasp on the meaning of the word "irony". :/

What is "irony?"

Is something ironic because it matches dictionary.com's definition of ironic, or is dictionary.com's definition of irony there because it is the true definition of irony, therefore making events described as ironic based on that definition truly ironic?

I think it would be ironic if we were all made out of iron.

It's possible to go a bit in-depth with armor and clothing, and code the game to where you can have locational damage. They just didn't do it...

Hell, I'd wager if they were willing to put in the work time for coding they could implement locational armor and damage.

Im very good at irony; my clothes are always so flat.

To a certain extent the game does have localised damage, i mean, the player can have his arms, legs and head crippled which is certainly localisation to a point.

Not sure if that is irony. This is why I don't want that system in Fallout, there is a topic on this somewhere. I don't want armour to become a fashion accessory so people can play dress up. I want armour to be useful.

Why not make armor both? I like getting mods that add more armor for my character, flair up their look instead of the plain stock clothing
