What do you think are the most important events or major events that shaped the fallout Universe and if that event didn't happen how would it change the events leading up to fallout new vegas
P.S It also dosen't have happen during the main quest such as the vault dweller saving Tandi if that didn't happen there would be no ncr now imagine fallout 2 and new vegas without the ncr [censored] would have been wayyyyy different

Each main quest.

Failure in either would have basically resulted in the end. Speaking FO1 and 2 of course. FO3 has no impact on the west, but there would be no 3 without the VD and CO.

The defeat of the Enclave in Fallout 2 has got to be the most pivotal event to happen in the Fallout timeline next to the Great War.

Had the Enclave won, nothing else would have followed.

QFT.

The entire country would be devoid of any life except for the "purists" in the Enclave. No Super Mutants, no Ghouls. Nothing but pure, unmutated humanity.

One problem. If the Master won, there almost no way the Enclave would have been able to recover the FEV.

So, FO2 would have been The Enclave vs The Master, and the hero would have been The Rig Dweller. Lol.

I have a feeling the Enclave may have found a way. Small scale-biological warfare, relentless air bombing. Something perhaps. Or maybe they would have figured out another way to wipe out the mutants.

So, FO2 would have been The Enclave vs The Master, and the hero would have been The Rig Dweller. Lol.

We'd all be rooting for the Enclave.

Makes me wonder if I should actually help the Master in Fallout 1.

Only Enclave actually, it's designed to kill anything that isn't inoculated.

Too true, sadly. I doubt there'd be an America left to rebuild for quite some time.

Just about anythung would drastically alter the games. If the Overseer didn't kick out the VD, there would be no Chosen One, and if there was, he would have been a prisoner on the rig.
