Alright, bought the collection (fallout, fallout 2, tactics) for Tactics at EB today. Autorun worked fine, installed fine, everything was fine until I actually went to play it.
"Please insert a Fallout Tactics disc"
Well, piss.

Anyone got any idea what's going on?

Edit: This is with the Collection disc in the drive.

Are you only having this with Fallout Tactics? Does the game still play once you put the disk in?

If the game is still plays then it is simply a disk check and you have to do that everytime. The game won't play without the CD.

Does the Tactics you get with the pack come with Three CDs or just one? Cause the original Tactics had came with three.

I have separate copies of FO1+2 and they work fine, it's just when I try to play Tactics from the Collection disc that it doesn't work. I don't actually have a standalone copy of Tactics.

I am not good at fixing things like that. Good news is I bet there are others that can help you.

Edit: have you tried going to the CD drive an launching it from there?

Got it going, downloaded patch 1.27 and a no CD patch, works perfectly now
