Ok so im sure someone else has made this post before but im a lil new to new Vegas and fallout but what can I do about my companion s and followers disappearing?

What do you mean by "disappear"? Your companions are marked on the map where they were ordered to stay. If you send them home, they can be found at the place you found them the first time (this holds for all but one) otherwise in the Lucky 38.
