ED-E name change, lol : Fallout: New Vegas

Has anyone tried killing him and notice his name changes to Punkass?

I thought I was going crazy, so I reloaded and tried again. It took a couple of tries but it definitely changes to Punkass, LMAO!

Really? First I've heard of it. I've had it die before but never noticed the name change.

Are you sure your characters name isn't punkass, sometimes your name will show up at the bottom of the screen if you accidently inflict damage on yourself

I am 100% sure ED-Es name changed. I checked a couple of times.
I shot it with a granade rifle. In case it matters how you hit it.

Youtube won't work for me, after he dies does his name say punkass when you search him, or does punkass just briefly show up above the health bar at the bottom of the screen?

You should totally update the Wiki with that little bit of information. This is something I never knew before.
