hello, i started a new game recently and didnt bother with the main quest and ended up being level 23 by the time i started it i already got the invitation to go to caesar but i didnt relise and i am getting assassins after me and i cant vist cottonwood cove now otherwise they will attack me on sight so i cant really do any of the main quest because the guy who is meant to come up to me to tell me i have to leave and you get the option to show the invitation attacks me on sight :/ what do i do?

Pick your best weapon, pack up plenty of ammo and officially declare war. If you need to get across to the Fort, but the Legion stands in your way then assault Cottonwood Cove, get to the raft that Lucullus is standing next to and take it to the Fort. You just have to look at it and press activate.

Tip: Lockpick the overturned truck at the top of Cottonwood Cove

im gonna do that because with 100 sneak and boone as your companion sniping the legions will be easy i always get 1 hit kills

If this is your Legion playthrough (I'm guessing by your post that it isn't.) you really only have two choices:

• Revert to an earlier save.
  
• Restart your game.

However, the MQ has 4 branches to it. Cutting one off doesn't kill the entire tree.

1 Thing, bring big gunzzz and loads of ammo

Psh, you only need the Gobi Campaign Sniper Rifle to take out Cottonwood. Oh and handloaded ammo won't hurt either haha

Snipers are fun while they last, but whats more fun to use then missiles and over thousands of 5,5mm ammo? NOTHING?
Its expensive, ill say that

Rush into the fort with a riot shotgun and go shotgun rain on their asses!

i took out everyone at cottonwood cove then took out 98% of people at the fort but i didnt kill caesar because i forgot to get boone so he could get his revenge
