Model Conversion, Oblivion > Fallout

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 11:29 pm

I wanted to convert a couple outfit pieces over from Oblivion to Fallout, but the .nif file structures are a little different between them, so I was wondering if anyone knew how that would be done.
Just an eyepatch and hairstyle, nothing so complicated as an actual outfit that would need to be refitted to the shape of the Fallout body.

Oh awesome, thank you. I didn't even know that the Nexus had a wiki with tutorials like that. There's a lot of helpful information there not found in the GECK wiki, especially since the GECK wiki is pretty much devoid of modeling/texturing information.

For some reason the mesh lost it's Alpha setting after transferring it over, so that the ends of the hair don't fade out. Anyone know how I might fix that? Those guides don't talk about it.
