Ive just spent the last two hours playing daggerfall for the first time. I appreciate it fully but wow is it hard. and the controls are a little bit flimsy for me. Think ill just go and play morrowind now. And i thought that was hard

I appreciate that Daggerfall is a very complex and super super deep game......but it makes my head hurt from the amount of stuff and I'll just play a similar game like Morrowind.

The only reason my head hurts is because I'm dashing through Direni tower with 100 Speed and 113 Run. :bonk:

It's hard, but it gets easier with time and wiki digging if you want.

Pop open the DOSbox config file (it's in the start menu) and find the line about cycles. Change it to "cycles=max limit 60000". The movement physics will be smoother, though your load times will probably go up a little.
