Half Giants?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 9:55 pm

I was thinking about all the playable races resantly and while they are all great their not muts. Sure you can roll play their a Mut but It would be nicer to just be a mut and not pretend. Thats where half giants mainly come from.

History
Half-Giants are born when a orc mates with a giant and a baby pops out. Its normaly just slightly taller then a normal orc and they are very rare creatures that have only now started making a apearance. They are mostly hated amungst all races and some have been made into slaves or 2 legged pack mules. The Lucky ones can find a tribe of them that roam the world in search for a land they can call home.

Skills (if added and made playable)
Half giants are strong and gain +50 carying compasity
They also have +20 health
2 handed gains +5
+2 smithing
Power:Half Bred Roar:for 30 secounds all enemys run in terror and you gain +5 damage once per day.
Weakness:Most things you half to craft because most shops will increase the price just to scam you. Also Half Giants seem to have almost no magical abilitys. this makes it so all spells they use drain more magica and only do half the original damage. This can also hurt them in normal combat as they have very low magic defence so all forms of magic do exstra damage.

Future
I think it be cool if added they do find a home in the final game and that it becoems big.
If not fan fic it all

its just a thought and I know my grammer svcks
sorry for making you mad in any way

It would be relatively easy to mod that idea into any of the last three TES games. And that's why there's a construction set issued with these games.

The problem with your idea is that you've increased the power of the character, without adding any weakness. That leads to imbalance, since you don't want one playable character race to be stronger than another.

Nords are sorta half giants already. But I don't think it's possible to breed with the sorts of giants found in Skyrim.

There's no half breeds in TES because the child takes the race of its mother, also as stated the giants of skyrim don't seem to be interbreed able

Even if it were possible to spawn a new creature by pairing a man/mer with a giant, it's highly unlikely that anyone would or could do it.

That said, there may be about two or three half-giants in the world, but no more. And I'm certain that they wouldn't be accepted into normal society whatsoever.
