just some thoughts

so i was thinking about how some people freak out when some one say that they think skyrim is the best TES or what ever. and then they say some thing like you only think that cause you haven't played the older ones. well i started out playing oblivion thought it was the gratest game ever made and still do. then i played morrowind thought it was better than oblivion. but then after a while of playing morrowind i had to go back to oblivion cause some of ob is way better than mw. then skyrim came out came and game play wise i think its the best out of the 3.

now i can't play oblivion any more and its not because i think it svcks compaired to MW or SK. or that i think MW is way better than it or Skyrim for that matter. but because i've been playing it since 2008 and i have literally done every thing been every where an seen every thing there is to see. and just can't get any thing new out of it when ever i try to play it again. and i just started really playing morrowind lat year so in a few years i probably wont be able to play that any more and the same with skyrim a year or so after that.

but they will all go down and remain the greatest games i've ever played even if at some point i wount be able to play them any more cause i've done every thing there is to do in the game.

Just an observation, but...how about role playing? Instead of playing the game that Bethesda has created for you, do something different. Make a character that "can't possibly work" and forget all about power-gaming.

I've got probably 100 hours on an Oblivion character named "Wild Elf," who has never stepped inside a town, never done a single quest, and never joined a faction. She doesn't have a house, doesn't have a horse, has never stolen anything or murdered anybody. And yet playing this character is great fun, because it's absolute freedom. She knows where everything is, but she doesn't have any obligations. She does what she wants to do. Sometimes that's nothing but chasing a deer halfway across the continent, or seeing how far into a bandit cave she can sneak before one of them notices her. It's pure play.

How can you possibly run out of stuff to do? For every thing that Bethesda put into the game for you to do, there are 100 other things you could do instead, and we're not even considering mods here.

That a shame...seeing as how this is, after all, a roleplaying game. ;) But, then again, there is no right way to play an Elder Scrolls game and you've gotten years of entertainment value out of the games. That ain't bad.

so i just picked up in oblivion were i last left off and went strate to the SI and i've actually been able to roll play for the whole time with out with out forgetting about it it is deff making it as good as it used to be again.

i've kinda been doing it in skyrim to off and on i just finished the main part of the thiefs guild and now i'm going to do all the jobs that i there is for so i can get that achievment for bring the thiefs guild back to its former glory. then i'm gonna have it to where my character gets tired of being a thief and remebers that that kid wanted me to kill gretta the kind ( i think thats here name and go from there with the Dark brotherhood. i havent done any other quests at all for my stealth charater. and after that i think i might make a new character or go back to my mage.
