Good map location guide?

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 4:14 am

Hi guys,

Is there a good guide (not a walkthrough) for the NPC locations or a good detailed map available? I'm getting frustrated by wandering all over the place not finding where I'm meant to be going?

Thanks

You won't find anything better than the online map: http://www.uesp.net/maps/mwmap/mwmap.shtml
Works just like a Google map.

The entire http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Morrowind itself is a great source of detailed info.

Agree. www.uesp.net is an excellent source. Don't know where someone is? Just do a search for them on the site. Need a map showing where something is (because the NPC gave you garbage directions) use the maps there or do a search and it will show you.

Haven’t played Morrowind in a few years, but when I did I didn’t even have the Internet to look for maps. I had the Map from the box which helped, but I wound up making my own. I screen captured the in-game map of discovered areas then pieced them together in PSP. I printed out the sections and glued them together. The map is about 3 feet by 3 feet. It never showed you where everything was but showed where you had been. After two or three years the map was about 70% complete. The areas close to the NE fence are what are still missing. Wow, I spent a lot of time doing that.

That is just awesome, could you post pictures of said map?

Not sure how to do that. The file is rather large. The bmp file is 280 mb. Just converted it to jpg at 14.3 mb. And that is the 50% size map.
