Okay, I'm sure this has been asked before, and I plead with you to bare with me because this would be my first time using the MGE. I have at the moment an earlier version 3.3.2 because when I downloaded and attempted to use 3.8.0, it said my graphics card didn't have the 2.0 shader data I believe. I decided to try a later version and still, I receive a message only the number is 1.4. The computer I am currently using has Windows 7 Starter - it's a notebook - if that has anything to do with it.

That thread Pluto linked you to is, indeed, the best place for asking questions about MGE. If/when you post please add some data on your graphics card. What brand and model is it? It is possible that your computer is not compatible with recent versions of MGE, but without more information it is difficult to know for sure.
