What are you talking about? Why would there be a maximum size for a txt file? However, if your Warnings.txt is 30kB then your Morrowind install is very buggy. Why don't you post the contents of the Warnings.txt file, so we can check for issues.
Also how is Windows 7 "trapping a CTD"? A CTD happens when there is a unhandled exception or other memory error. If the warnings.txt is that large you may have a memory leak.
O.K. I will rephrase.
I know exactly what the bugs efffect is, it adds a TES3Stream warning line to Warnings.txt ad infinitum. Windows 7 is eventually
coming up with its "Morrowind has stopped Working, closing down" messge. Given that a txt file can be any size I was just curious as to whether gamesas might have deliberately set a limit to the number of messages that could be sent to Warnings.txt (9 years ago HDD's were small).
As for "trapping a CTD" I've always used it to refer to occurences when modern versions of Windows closes a program down rather than the program causing a CTD or BSOD in the old fashioned way. But from now on I will stop using using this phrase.
Sorry for the confusion.
