Hey guys i just got a second-hand copy of the original MW release - its version 1.0 (so no expansions on there as yet) I tried to patch it with v1.2.0722
but once i do that the game won't load at all. But I cannot find any other patches...
Any advice you ye experts?

Thanks but that's where i got the patch v1.2.0722 which crashed the game.

Well you could try the unofficial patches

And if that doesnt work, reinstall the game. Installing patches shouldn't have crashed your game. In fact it should have the complete opposite effect. You might have messed something up installing so reinstalling again might be helpful.
