So i have officially one back to oblivion and given up on skyrim. lol

I'm back to it as well. But I don't give up Skyrim completely. In the future, I will make a second run with a new character and mods which greatly improve the game. Now I just enjoy playing nice quest mods for Oblivion and continue the work on Abyss Demon.

i'll finish up the main quest and a few loose ends and then i'm going to dive right into oblivion.

i haven't played it in at least 2 years and i'm actually really excited to compare it to skyrim.

i went from morrowind to skyrim and the differences were unbelievably obvious. good and bad.

I don't give up on games that I love. A game that was good yesterday is still good today. I don't understand this concept of suddenly deciding to abandon a game forever. A game doesn't suddenly become bad just because a few years have passed. After all, I don't refuse to read a book I love just because I've read the book a few times before.

Of course, if I didn't love the game to begin with, that's another story.

Same, Skyrim was a huge let down for me...

I drift between the two. At the moment it's Oblivion, with a bit of Skyrim in between. They're both sensational games, so I definitely couldn't choose between the two!

Same here, replaying Oblivion. You know doing the guild quests and getting to know the characters and having lengthy questlines for all guilds almost makes me wanna cry when I look at what the guilds in Skyrim had become. Quests aren't engaging, you progress too fast and the characters aren't memorable (Exept for Aela the Sideboob for obvious reasons )

For me, skyrim is when i want "epicness".

And oblivion is like you've gone down south for a nice little vacation in the countryside minus the oblivion gates of course.

And the psychic guards.
