i'm using Logitech's dual action pad and after mapping the left joy stick for directional control weapons and shields get selected and deselected when stick points to the NW, NE, SW, and SE angle points. I've tried all kinds of POV assigments but none seem to fix the problem. Any one with a different solution please post it.

Could you be more clear in what the issue is? It's a bit hard for me to tell.

Having similar issues with proper commands assignment for my controller too. the game just doesn't seem to be designed for controllers when playing the PC
