How did Colonel Autumn survive after getting irradiated to d

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 8:59 pm

When your dad dies in the Jefferson Memorial Rotunda, so does Colonel Autumn, it seems. He looks pretty dead, when you leave there. Then in the "Finding The Garden Of Eden" quest, he returns and takes you into Raven Rock with the Enclave. Does anyone know how he survived? Maybe Enclave Generals/Soldiers, got him out in time? Just wondering.

When you see him go down from the radiation, he pulls something out of his coat and injects himself with it. Probably some sort of powerful rad x that the enclave made, since they have they most advanced technology.

EDIT here's a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE7nNyziXSg&feature=related look at Colone Autumn around 2:15 and 2:16 you can see him put some

He injects himself with a super version of Rad-X.

Roleplay wise, the Game guide states that he probably has a radiation-proof overcoat.

Realistically, He injected himself with a huge dose of rad-x and the enclave probably comes to rescue him.

I wish he would've died though. He made for a terrible endgame boss.

I know right. One shot to his head with my A3-21 Plasma Rifle and he was done, just like that.

On Very Hard it takes a bit more than that, although my statement still stands that he is a terrible end-boss.

I wish there was a mod that would put Frank Horrigan in his place for that fight. Not realistic (roleplay wise) at all, but would be an epic battle.

(Maybe he was cloned before the Chosen One made it to the oil rig)

Oh. Now I see. Thanks. I was just listening to James, when Autumn injected himself.

It could have been normal rad-x, as he may have a high medicine and while the game caps its effectiveness at 85, it would really go to 100 rad resistance.

I didn't even realize he was supposed to be a big thing to fight.

You should see what a Gatling laser can do to that guy.

What happened to bosses that are hard to fight?
Autumn? Pushover
Alien Captain (mothership zeta)? Pushover
Desmond or the brain guy (point lookout)? Pushover
General Jingwei (Anchorage)? Pushover

If your supposed to be an engame boss, but you have a horrible weapon, and less hitpoints than your minions, don't even bother fighting me.

I let Col Autumn leave so I would never see him again. I had the satisfaction of seeing him walk away in shame knowing he had been defeated by a better opponent. A lot better than just killing him.

More than likely he's killed either way.

Sarah mentions something about "too bad he'll probably be shot the moment he steps outside the door." Although he may have escaped through the taft tunnels with his bodyguards.
