SPECIAL Misc. Boosters

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:31 pm

I'm talking of course about certain quests/items/perks that help boost your SPECIAL stats. Such as the "Ant Strength/Sight" perks, the Lucky 8 Ball/Lucky Shades, etc.

It's been a LONG time since I've played F3 and I can't quite wrap my head around a few things. I'm going for a basic VATS abuser build like I usually played..

Strength 4 (I leave this at 4 because I can get Ant Strength/Bobblehead for 5-6)
Perception 6 (I have it at 6 for a perk.. prolly Sniper or something)
Endurance 5 (Norm.)
Charisma 4
Intelligence 7
Agility 9
Luck 5

Don't advise for 9 Intel. cause that's a lil bit overboard IMHO. 7 I think is perfect, but 8 gives it just enough.

Mainly.. I'm trying to remember if theres anything (besides Bobbleheads) that increases Agility?

The first time you level up, the perks are blah. Put a point into your SPECIAL at that time. Also, you will need a Luck of 6, I believe, someone correct me, to get the Better Criticals Perk. With an Agility of 9, I can get three placements with Eugene. I can still only get one with the Heavy Incinerator. Keep INT at 7, instead take the Comprehension Perk and get two, instead of one skill point per book reading. Also take the Educated Perk, if that matters to you.

Good to know. I usually take Comprehension and Educated, there like staples for me. I usually just go ahead and pick 2 Intense Training for my LV 2 and 3. Then Educated at 4, Comp at 5.

I just really need to know if there's ANYTHING item/perk/quest wise that can give you a +1 for Agility? (Besides Bobblehead)

*NOTE: I have all 5 DLC's, purchased seperately. So if there's anything like I'm asking in them, please remind me.

Some clothes give you +1 in agility, like wastelands wear, the antagonizer suit or the oasis reward hood

As in my PM, I mentioned the Almost Perfect Perk.

You'd think "Wired Reflexes" would be + agility , but no.

Eegadds , rideing the line between just enough spoilerd content is tough.

What I mean is ... did anybody figure out how to get the android quest done without spoiler help? The swimming part anyway.

I figured it out by accident, playing with my local map and trying to figure out how to get past 100 lockpick door to the Broken Bow. I realized then that there are many locations that only reveal themselves on the local map, and not the global one.
