3 dog glitch?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 7:00 pm

Well I installed all the add ons last night and I've just entered the sewers to go help the outcasts, I assume that quest is Operation Anchorage.
Well I've done nothing in the MQ yet and 3 dog just announced that the purifier is up and running and how we kicked the enclaves butt.
I imagine it's just a glitch, just kinda broke the immersion a little, not too bothered just wanted to know if that is normal?

Also it's only happened twice, but sometimes the skies go all funny, like proper glitched. Almost like a constant blurry stream. I left the area and it's been ok since but just happened again. Is this gonna have an effect in the long run or shall I just carry on?

The first is Bethesda spacing out the spoiler. Yes, we all experience it. You will also experience the surprise of one or two Enclave troops showing up prematurely in the wasteland. They will kick your ass, so watch out. But awesome loot for an early level character if you survive.

I don't know about the second. I experience a little hiccup now and again, especially after I clear my cache. I've determined that if I or my son plays Oblivion before the FO3 disc gets put in, I must clear the cache, as it seems that Oblivion and FO3 share part of the cache, at the same time. I have what looks like a lightning storm over Megaton sometimes, flashing sky, which disappears after about two seconds. It's a rare occurence, and though it freaked me out the first time, the game seems to resolve itself quickly, and I've never crashed with this issue. PL tends to make me crash, the first time I visit, after that it's good, though sometimes a little hiccupy.
Carry on. Don't freak out when a Robobrain flys through the air and lands at your feet, and sometimes you get XP for it.

Thanks for the warning on the enclave.

Yeah you could say it looks like lightning but it smears the whole sky, it won't go away unless i leave the area for a few days. I'll just keep going then :)

This just happened to me too for the first time (that I noticed anyways) only 4 hours into my character. So I had to go visit three dog and put an end to his vicious rumours lol It feels good to have my Lincoln Repeater back.
