Ok I remember doing this on my last playthrough years ago, on this one I've reversed pick pocketed a power helmet and he is actually wearing it. It's quite funny lol.
But whenever I try and steal I always get caught.
My sneak is like 83 and I'm wearing the Chinese stealth suit too so it gives me a sneak of 98.
I've tried when he's sleeping too and he still catches me.


Edit; ok sorry I've done it. I gave him Reds bandana first and then took his head wrap and it worked. Thanks anyway.

What happens if you kill 3 dog? Does he still broadcast over GNR? I never tried it, matter of fact I think I've only seen 3 dog once in my first playthru

I was hopeing for a smak talker perk (confuses enemies as to wether your hostile or not) lol err sumthin along those lines ...hehe.
But those stats are actually pretty good ... Im guessing the DR is the same as other head wraps? Bummer on nothing special with the sunglasses.

I'm wearing this item for the first time ever in playing this game. Three Dog said hello to the Lincoln Repeater after I finished getting the dish set up at the washington monument. Thats what he gets for being a dike and with holding information from me.

lol nice. I'm using all the funny and insulting lines of dialogue on this playthrough. I think Three Dog told me to smoke a peace pipe three or four times before he met Mr. Lincoln.

Now for future reference I had a bit of trouble getting 3 Dog's headwrap but I found that trying to take is headwrap and sunglasses at the same time he would always catch me. When I took one at a time he was oblivious.
